CFX SR 417 Widening from International Drive to John Young Parkway

GEC provided the geotechnical engineering for the Final design and construction to widen 4.1 miles of SR 417 from International Drive to John Young Parkway. This project adds one general-use lane and one Part Time Shoulder Use (PTSU) lane in each direction. All mainline bridges within the project limits; Hunter’s Vista Boulevard, Shingle Creek, Town Loop Boulevard and John Young Parkway, were widened to accommodate the proposed improvements. Additional elements include noise walls, modifications to the John Young Parkway toll plaza and milling and resurfacing of all existing pavement within the project limits.
